Miranda Lambert leads the list of nominees with a total of 9 nominations.

Jason Aldean was "snubbed" out of the Entertainer of the Year category this year.

The nominees for this year's Entertainer of the Year are:

- Miranda Lambert
- George Strait

 

Jason Aldean is setting the charts on fire with his first single of his new album "Old Boots, New Dirt"!  His song "Burning it Down" has been named the fastest certified platinum single in country music history.  It rose to the top of the charts, and didn't budge.  The song only took 9 weeks to reach platinum status.  Jason is also the most downloaded country musician.  He's really got a stronghold on country music in the digital era.
